It's Just Another Manic Monday- I Mean, Monday Made It!!

I'm linking up for my 3rd Monday Made It with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics.  I feel like such a nerd for being so excited about this linky party.  Anyone else feeling it?  Anywho, I got a few things accomplished this week and am pretty happy with the results.

First off, I saw a pin on the infamous Pinterest on how to make your own scratch-offs.  I thought that would be such a fun way to reward the kiddos so I made some of my own.  They have things like eat lunch outside, no shoes for a day, sit in the rolling chair for a day, etc.  Most things are FREE and that makes it even better for me.  So, I created mine and laminated them in the business card sized pouches.  That way, after the kids reveal the prize, I only need to repaint the square and use it again and again and again...You get the idea.  Here's a couple of pictures of the tickets.

I also worked on making some numbers for my calendar.  I found this red polka-dotted calendar at School Aids but they didn't have any sports themed numbers so I had to fix that.  How do you think they turned out?  I still need to put Velcro on the backs but the Velcro is in my classroom and I can't get in yet.

I took Tara's advise and worked on some FUNdametal things but they aren't quite ready to share.  Guess I'll have to share next week.

You did a great job on your calendar numbers! I had a sports theme a few years ago and couldn't find calendar numbers to go with my theme either. Yours turned out super cute!!

@Michelle
I got the clip art on the calendar from DJ Inkers (http://www.djinkers.com/). It is called Grin Again Kids. On the scratch-offs, the clip art is from Scrappin Doodles. I have a few of their sports sets so I am not sure which one it's from.

Thanks for stopping by.

@FourthGrade Flipper
Themes are fun but VERY time consuming and expensive! I usually keep the same theme for about 2 years. Sometimes I wonder if a hodge podge would just be better!

I'm heading over to check out your blog now!

I had no idea that you could make your very own scratchoffs!! Wow! I am in love with everything I have read on your blog! You are such an inspiration. I am very new to the blogging world (2 weeks) and just started my own blog to make the experience more meaningful. I hope you don't mind that I added your button to my sidebar "Blogs I Love". Thank you for sharing your ideas!!
