Monday Made It Link Up

This will be my first attempt at linking up, so wish me luck!  I love all of the awesome ideas being shared at 4th Grade Frolics Monday Made It.  If only there was enough time to do it all!  Anyway, I wanted to share a few things I've been working on.

First off, I found these cute seats somewhere out there.  I'm not sure where, so sorry I don't know who gets the credit.  I am going to use these in my girls' rooms.  I plan to make a couple more for my classroom but I'll have to use sports fabric.  These are great for storing books, toys, games, etc. and doubling as a seat.  Fortunately, my husband is amazing with a saw and cut the plywood for the seat part.  I just added the batting, fabric, and staples.

And, like all the other teachers out there, I also made an organizer.  Not sure who actually originated the idea, but I LOVE IT!!  I am going to try to get rid of my teacher's desk, so this will keep all of the junk stuff I normally have in my drawers.

 Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Kristi! Thanks for linking up:) Your stools turned out so cute! I have been debating about whether or not to make those....my classroom is not too big so not sure what to do....hmmm. Love your teacher toolbox. That was the very first thing I made that started this out of control craft journey:))) Please come back next week:)))

I love the templates you used in your toolbox. Those would go perfect with my Mickey primary colors in my room. I would appreciate a copy of your template if you don't mind.

I made that toolbox next week. The crate seats were on my list until I splurged and bought some seats from Hobby Lobby. At least that was one project I could X out off my long To-Do list :)

I am going to get rid of my teacher's desk, too! I think it'll be a great change! I also made a toolbox last week to put all of my stuff (a.k.a. junk!) in! Love yours!

I made those crate seats last year and they were AMAZING for storage! I really don't know what I would have done without them. :)

And your toolbox is super super cute!

Too funny--both of our first link ups was Monday Made It, and both of our first Monday Made It was the Teacher Toolbox! So...what do you want to do next week? :) Ha!

You will love the crate seats in your classroom. I made four of them a couple of summers ago and the kids always pick those for a spot to read. I would love to get a copy of your labels for the toolbox. Please let me know if I could purchase them somewhere. Thanks!

Super cute toolbox! What font did you use? I got rid of my teacher desk last year, and I LOVED it! Frees up so much space... and let's be honest. I rarely sat at it, and all it did was hold stacks of papers for me!
